The Golf Committee is responsible for planning and executing a world-class charity golf tournament that kicks off CS5 West 2026. This isn't just any golf outing—it's where industry leaders network, strategic partnerships form, and we make a meaningful impact for a worthy cause.
Committee Responsibilities
- Course Selection & Coordination: Select the golf course and manage logistics with the venue and Forum Makers team.
- Tournament Format & Rules: Set the format, rules, scoring, and competition categories.
- Sponsorship & Revenue: Support Forum Makers in securing sponsorships and participants.
- Charity Partner Selection: Identify and coordinate with a veteran or military-focused charity organization that aligns with the DIB community's values.
- Player Coordination: Help facilitate on-site check-in, team formation, and communication with participants.
- Event Day Operations: Coordinate with the venue for catering, signage, carts, activities, scoring, and awards.
- Prizes & Awards: Secure prizes for winners and organize awards presentation.
What You'll Do
Scout the Course
Visit potential courses, negotiate deals, and ensure we choose a venue that wows our players and fits our budget
Assist Forum Makers with Sponsorships
Connect with sponsors, coordinate with charity partners, and create win-win relationships across the ecosystem
Design the Experience
Create memorable on-course competitions, plan the format, and ensure every detail delivers an exceptional day
Give Back
Work with veteran and military charities to make a real impact while strengthening our DIB community bonds
Manage the Details
Handle on-site check-in, scoring, communications, and all the logistics that make tournament day run smoothly
Celebrate Success
Organize prizes, run the awards ceremony, and ensure winners and sponsors get the recognition they deserve
